Context

For 11 years, the Klitschko Foundation team has been implementing the School of Success project for teenagers from all over Ukraine. A total of 1546 teenagers have taken part in the project over this time. The School of Success project has been transformed into the School of Resilience in response to new challenges caused by Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Teenagers are facing a difficult choice: to stay to study and work in Ukraine or to go abroad, not knowing what steps to take in the current realities. Therefore, it is now critical to provide young people with relevant knowledge, practical skills and the necessary support to reflect on their life's priorities and understand their importance here and now in their country.

Mission

To shape a generation of teenagers who are able to take ownership of their lives, act responsibly, and actively contribute to positive change in society.

Who can participate?

  • Teenagers
Girls and boys aged 14-16 from different regions of Ukraine.

Project format

The project will be implemented offline in two camps at a safe location in Zakarpattia region.

Project program

Duration: 8 days
Educational Program

During the 8-day program, participants will take part in:

    • lectures and workshops on media literacy, basic legal knowledge, sexual education, public speaking, and project management;
      work on local community projects;
      meetings with role models and experts;
      group and individual sessions with psychologists.
    • All activities are designed to develop key skills essential for young people’s future, including media literacy, public relations, critical and strategic thinking, project management, fundraising, and public speaking.

    In addition, the program places a strong emphasis on mental well-being, helping teenagers better understand themselves, identify their strengths, and learn how to work effectively in a team.

Local Projects

After completing the educational program, participants are expected to implement a project in their community, city, town or village.

    Klitschko Foundation team will gladly provide mentoring support and guidance, while participants will be free to choose the idea and format of their project. The key requirement is that the project reflects the program’s values and shares the knowledge and skills gained during the educational program.
