An analysis of the level of global public participation in grassroots sports shows that Ukrainians are several times lower than the world's leading countries. The state is unable to ensure the effectiveness of the existing concept of physical education and sports development in Ukraine, which is manifested in the lack of health and sports infrastructure and its targeted funding. As a result, the traditions of healthy lifestyles and active leisure are being lost.
