Context

According to the International Organization for Migration, there are over 4.6 million internally displaced persons in Ukraine. Among them are many young people who have experienced significant social and psychological trauma. At Klitschko Foundation, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity for development, inner resilience, and a sense of safety despite the challenges of war. Mental health is the foundation of this journey. We also believe that sport is not only about physical activity. It is a way to rebuild trust in oneself and others, cope with stress and express emotions. That is why this project combines psychological support with sports activities to provide young people with tools for inner recovery.

Mission

The project is designed to help young people cope with the challenges of war by providing a safe space for dialogue, learning, and recovery. It focuses on developing emotional resilience, supporting mental well-being, and strengthening physical health. Through sports and group work, we aim to build trust, support, and stability.

Special attention will be given to supporting mental health through sports practices: participants will engage in yoga, surfing, mindful walks, and other physical activities that promote recovery and emotional balance.
